Types of sleep wear

Chemises
 Chemises are gown-like delicate are extremely feminine garments. They are loose fitting, sleeveless, shirt-like garments. They are modeled on the lines of baby-dolls, except this that they are a bit tighter on the hips.

They are usually worn by pairing with a baby doll set or a bikini.

They are shorter in length and reach somewhere about the mid of your thigh.

They are made of silks and stains. Laces, trimmings, bows, etc are all incorporated into the design to make them more appealing and sexy


Peignoir

A Peignoir is a long outer garment for women. They may also be understood as a loose fitting robe, worn by women. You may also wear a Peignoir over your negligee or nightgown.


They are sexy and highly feminine piece of clothing. They are made of some light-weight sheer materials whereas, chiffon remain a common and popular choice. They may be highly embellished or feature some ruffles or frills, etc. They are usually sold and paired with a matching nightgown, negligee or panties.



Pajamas

Pajamas are a strict wardrobe staple. They are classic and comfortable. They provide you modest coverage as well as comfort. They are available in a number of styles and you can get one to match your teddy sets, sleep-shirts, t-shirts etc.

Pajamas are loose fitting trousers that come in two pieces to include a shirt or a t-shirt.

They are available in silks, stains, cottons, polyester, nylons, flannels, etc.They may be of the classy draw string-style or may feature some elastics, buttons or hooks.

They can be worn by men, women and children alike. They are popular among all age groups.

Slips

Slips are inspired by Chemises or shifts. The slip is sleeveless and of full length. They are made of linens, stains, cottons, etc.

They are worn under the garment and over the undergarments to provide a shape as well as a smooth finish underneath a dress.

They may also provide some corseting or breast support apart from keeping the shape.

They are made of cottons, polyesters, nylons, linens and silk. Some are made of laces and trimmings and some sheer fabric, too. Various designs are available that feature slips at both the sides or at one side.

Even half sleeves are popular. They started at the waist and could run up to any length. They are mostly purchased with a camisole and come into role playing only when full body coverage would be required.

Some half sleeves are designed on the line of bloomers or pants.
